2013 Royal Geelong Show

The 2013 Royal Geelong Show will take place between Thursday the 17th and 20th of October and promises to be the biggest and best on record.  The show is the biggest show in Victoria outside of Melbourne and has been regarded as the biggest four day show in the country.

This year there will be loads of fun and entertainment for the whole family, plenty of our region’s finest animals, sheep, cattle, horses, dogs, poultry, budgies you name it. There will be show jumping, the grand parade, shearing and some of the region’s best produce, wine and handicrafts.

After entry so much of the show is free, the kids will just adore the animal nursery, walking around the sheep pavilion and be fascinated by the historic steam display.

The rides and sideshows are a favourite with the young and this year there promises to be some thrilling and heart thumping rides. Don’t forget to fill up on dagwood dogs, fairy floss and take home a great selection of showbags.

Friday and Saturday nights will see the famous fireworks display over the East Geelong skies bringing to an end a magnificent day at the Geelong Show.
