Djuki Mala Chooky Dancers

Geelong Performing Arts Centre’s Playhouse Theatre will host an incredible touring show from Artback in the Northern Territory. Djuki Mala or the Chooky Dancers are an amazing contemporary Aboriginal performance from the Galiwinku Community from Elcho Island located in North East Arnhem Land. The show will include some amazing music, acrobatics, dance and theatre with plenty of humour, culture and spirit. The market specialises in high quality items, with plenty of hand made products from jewellery, photography, art, beautiful clothing, gifts and home wares. The Geelong Half Marathon
Sunday 27th of April 2014
The Geelong Cross Country Club is hosting the Geelong Half Marathon along the scenic Barwon River in a 21.1 kilometre event. The event to raise money for the Geelong Hospital’s Andrew Love Centre will start in Belmont, head to Breakwater then to Fyansford and return to Belmont. You can run as an individual or event create a relay team where three people can run around 7 kilometres each. The day kicks off around 7:00 AM with the race starting at 8:00 AM.
