Dementia and Driving

Dementia is an issue for so many in our community. This free community information session being held at the Geelong West Town Hall has been specially designed to help family members, carers and friends support people living with dementia and to help balance their independence with safety and the ability to stay mobile and socially connected with society in the often difficult transition to not driving. Art in the City

Art in the City is going to be a fantastic event in aid of ‘SPAIN’ the Suicide Prevention Awareness Network. The event will have a gallery space, live music, complimentary nibbles and even a bar. Entry is $10 at the Ginsberg Market 53 Corio Street Geelong, just down from the Bush Inn Hotel from 5:30 PM onwards.

Connecting to Country is a Aboriginal Arts Festival celebrating the knowledge and wisdom of our Wauthaurong People, the traditional land holders of much of the Geelong and Surfcoast region. The event will take part in Spring Creek Reserve at Torquay and will feature a wide range of activities including ceremonies, dance, arts and cultural workshops, movies, guided cultural walks. the Coverdale Community Group are celebrating art, culture and the community in a fun day of live music, art workshops, henna tattoos, story telling, gardening food and so much more.
