Food Trucks
The food trucks are back in the Geelong Mall Friday at lunchtime. They were here a few months back and proved a great hit. Get down to the mall for some great street food, there will be plenty of great choices and a great atmosphere.

Dereel Spring Festival
The small township of Dereel on the Golden Plains is holding the Dereel Spring Festival an event for the whole family. This fun day will feature some wonderful market stalls including local arts and crafts. Dereel is located on the Colac – Ballarat Road around an hour’s drive from central Geelong taking the Rokewood – Shelford Road from Bannockburn.

Geelong Collectables and Vintage Fair
The Barwon Valley Activities Centre in Belmont will host an amazing collectables and vintage fair between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. The fair will feature a wide range of items including toys, swap cards, medals, bottles, stamps, china and many other interesting items.

Geelong River Fest
Give Where You Live are holding a wonderful festival on the Barwon River called River Fest. This event will feature a huge day of dragon boat racing on the river to raise money for their work throughout the Geelong community. The event will also feature a 4.5km run along the beautiful banks of the Barwon River in an effort to beat competing dragon boats. The day should be packed full of fun with live music and activities along the river and even a Little Creatures Bar where you can taste the freshest of Geelong made beer.

2014 Inline Hockey Nationals
The Geelong Arena will host a battle of Australia’ s finest inline hockey players in the 2014 Inline Hockey National Championships. This huge event will see players compete for the chance to be selected in the 2015 Australian teams for the Oceania and World Championships.
