2015 All Ford Day
The Kiwanis All Ford Day is back for 2015 again being held on the grassy fields of Deakin University in Waurn Ponds. This year’s event takes place on Sunday the 15th of February and over 1200 Ford vehicles spanning all eras of motoring history are expected to be on display making I the biggest display of Ford vehicles in Australia. Over 30 Ford Car Clubs from around the country will be displaying their vehicles along with hundreds of private exhibitors, from the Model T to the latest and last Falcon FGX.
The All Ford Day will have plenty of fun for the whole family with music all day and lots of entertainment, there will be food, kids’ activities and Dan the Magic Man. The lawns will also have plenty of tents selling a wide range of merchandise and plenty of great auto themed souvenirs.
The day will see several celebrities including some well-known motoring identities and drivers from the Ford V8 Supercars signing autographs and doing a meet and greet with the huge crowd expected.
Ford as a major sponsor will be bringing some of their development fleet to the show, so expect to see a few unreleased vehicles or something that has been engineered and designed in Australia for the world market.
Over 40 awards are on offer during the day for exhibitors to win from best overall Ford to individual model trophies. Last Year Darren Bonnici took out the William Clay Ford Perpetual Trophy for best Overall Ford for his 1971 Lime Green XY Fairmont GS. It was a magnificent vehicle.
