2015 All Holden Day

 

Another of Geelong’s great auto shows returns to the Geelong Showgrounds on Saturday the 14th of March. The 2015 All Holden Day is Geelong’s biggest Holden car show and will attract around 700 vehicles spanning the entire life of the Holden Motor Company and will also feature many specialty vehicles made by the parent company GM, with Chevys, Buicks and Cadillacs also taking part in the show.

The show sees an amazing array of vehicles with Commodores of all models and body styles making up a large portion of the exhibition. The day attracts many passionate Holden fans celebrating the brand, enough to make Brocky proud. You will see some vehicles better than show room condition, some incredible restorations and many with one off modifications that have taken hours and many dollars to complete.

Organised by the Geelong FX-HZ Holden Car Club, the day runs from 9:30 AM through to about 4:30 PM, with cars arriving at the showgrounds from 7:00AM.

This festive event sees cars nearly fill the entire main arena of the showgrounds. There will also be plenty of food vendors and a large collection of trade stands undercover and scattered around the venue.

This event is used as a major Fund Raiser for the Geelong FX-HZ Holden Car Club, last year they with the help of the event they were able to raise a staggering $3000.00 for Our Woman Our Children Fund and $1000.00 to the Isabella Marcus Paediatric Brainstem Tumor Fund, The Olivia Newton-John Cancer & Wellness Centre. This year Heart Kids is one of the worthy causes they will be supporting.
