2015 Toast to the Coast

The annual Toast to the Coast festival is back for the 14th year celebrating the amazing wines of the greater Geelong region.

The festival is going from strength to strength and its no wonder with the Geelong region producing some of Australia’s best wines. The festival takes place on the Saturday the 31st of October and the 1st of November and includes dozens of our best wineries on the Bellarine, the Moorabool Valley and Surfcoast.

Shuttle buses are the best way to enjoy the day, with regular services travelling between wineries in the three regions. Feeder buses are also loop the Geelong Railway Station so its a fantastic event from those out of town. Be sure to organize your bus tickets and tickets for the festival before hand to avoid disappointment as things can get busy.

There are four bus routes, two on the Bellarine with the North loop taking in Leura Park, Bale Wines, Bellarine Estate, Terindah Estate, Scotchman’s Hill and Leura Park. A southern Bellarine loop will take in Flying Brick Cider House, Oakdene Vineyards, Marus Hill Vineyard, Kiltyname WInes and McGlashans Estate.
A Surfcoast route will take in Mt Duneed Estate, teh Moriac Store that will be jam packed with great wine and food, Moshulu Estate and Bellbrea Estate. The Moorabool Loop will include Austins & Co, Clyde Park, Lethbridge Wines, Moorabool Ridge and Rowsley Fault.

For those wanting to move between the two Bellarine loops there are also some services ruining from the Flying Brick Cider House and Leura Park.

As well as some wonderful tastings many of the wineries open for the event will offer gourmet food, entertainment and special cellar door sales.
