Miss Saigon
One of the world’s great musicals, Miss Saigon is coming to Geelong. Footlight Productions are producing the amazing performance that is based around a Asian woman’s relationship with an American Soldier during the Vietnam War. There will be 10 performances of this incredible show at the Playhouse Theatre in GPAC from 23rd of January to 7th of February.

Food Truck Fridays
The foodtrucks are back in the Geelong Mall in another installment of Food Truck Fridays. There will be around a dozen trucks offering some amazing street food. Expect some interesting fusion treats like food Mexico meets Asia. Try some gourmet burgers or pizza or even a plate of juicy meatballs. Come down for lunch, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious.

NightJar Festival
The NightJar Festival is back for 2015 returning to Geelong’s Johnstone Park every Friday in February after its season in Torquay. between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. The Nightjar is part market, part international food expo and part independent artists festival.

FWY #5
Geelong’s biggest car enthusiast event is back for 2015, with the first installment of FWY in the Bunnings Carpark at the Waurn Ponds Homemaker Centre. The evening kicks off around 7:00PM All types of cars are welcome to this alcohol free family event.

Torquay Motor Show
The Torquay Rotary Club’s major fundraiser the Torquay Motorshow is back for 2015 in what promises to be a great day. The motorshow has grown from strength to strength over the last few years and one of the best auto shows in the Geelong region. The show features a wide range of vehicles from the latest models to vintage and everything in between. There are sure to be plenty of amazing muscle cars from the 60’s and 70’s plus a wide array of classic finned vehicles from the 50’s. The show takes place on Torquay’s beautiful foreshore. A Day of the Green
Legendary Grammy award winning stars Sting and Paul Simon will be performing together in a Day on the Green at Mt Duneed Estate in Waurn Ponds. They will be performing songs from their solo work many Police and Simon and Garfunkel Classics. Australian artist Sarah Blasco is the special support making for a great evening of entertainment. Ironman 5i50
The Ironman series returns to the Geelong Watefront for another year with a new name and a challenging course around some of Geelong’s iconic scenery. THe Ironman 70.3 long triathon course is the highlight of the event seeing a 1.5 km swim on Corio Bay, a 40 km open road cycle race and a 10 kilometre run that finishes on Steampacket Gardens.
