2017 Great Australian Beer Festival

  

The 5th annual Great Australian Beer Festival will be the place to be on Saturday the 18th of February if you are a lover of great beers and ciders. A huge crowd is expected to enjoy sampling over 200 different craft beers and ciders on lawns of Geelong Racecourse.

Many of Australia’s finest craft breweries will be represented at the festival and our local breweries like Cockies, Bellarine Brewing, Forrest Brewing, Blackmans, Prickly Moses, Pettavel, Odyssey and Southern Bay will be front and centre all with a range of their finest brews.

This year the entertainment has gone up a notch with the legendary Richard Clapton being one of the sensational acts entertaining the crowd during the day. Other music includes Jon Toogood and the Potbelleez.

New for 2017 will be a special cocktail corner, international beer hall and the popular seminars brew talks will return as will the fun keg rolling competitions.

The grounds will host some fantastic food trucks including the popular Senor BBQ and Simply Vegan just to name a few.

This year the festival kicks off at 12:00 PM and runs through to 8:00 PM and there will be a bus service linking South Geelong Station from 11:45 AM with a city drop off after 7:00 PM.
