Robbie Williams Live – A Day on the Green

Only a few weeks after Bryan Adams another of the world’s biggest musical acts Robbie Williams will be performing live in Geelong at A Day on the Green at Mount Duneed Estate in Waurn Ponds. This has been the hottest ticket Geelong ever, and sold in in minutes. Robbie is currently on his “Heavy Entertainment Tour”that wound through Europe last last year to rave reviews and includes hits like Rock DJ, Angels, Let me Entertain You, he has even been doing a cover of George Michaels’ Freedom 90 on the set list most nights. For those who missed out things are grim, but keep trying as you never know if there will be a small release of tickets closer to date. (Be very wary of being ripped by those evil ticket resellers, scalpers or Viagogo only use the official ticket sellers)
South Geelong Primary Carnival

The South Geelong Primary School on the corner of Yarra and Kilgour Streets are holding their annual carnival with plenty of family fun. There will be music, rides, market stalls and plenty of tasty food.

The Geelong Show Grounds will be celebrating all things Holden at the annual All Holden Day ran buy the Geelong FX-HZ Holden Car Club on Saturday March 3rd. The day will see hundreds of vehicles with plenty of early FJ’s right up to the last HSV’s and Commodores that rolled of the Australian assembly line. Dachshund Derby

It will be a doggie of a day at Victoria Park in the western plains township of Inveleigh when the annual Dachshund Derby kicks off on Sunday the 4th of March. This day will plenty of fun events including dog dress ups, billie cart races and the festival favorite the legendary Dachshund Race.
Strawberry Fair

Wallington Primary School is one again hosting one of the Bellarine’s favorite events, the Wallington Strawberry Fair. This day celebrates the delicious strawberries grown in our region and features food, market stalls, rides and a full day of entertainment. It is a fantastic family day and should not be missed. Rotary’s Monster Book Sale
2nd – 4th March 2018
The Rotary Club of Geelong West will again hold its Monster Book Fair from Friday to Sunday at the Geelong West Town Hall. There will be thousands of books on sale. The Monster Book Fair is the Clubs major annual fundraiser and so far it has raised tens of thousands of dollars that have been donated back through the Club’s supported projects
