2018 Rotary Torquay Motorshow
Sunday 11th February 2018
Now in its 11th year the Torquay Motorshow takes place along Torquay’s beautiful Elephant Walk foreshore on Sunday the 11th of February and features a diverse display of cars, trucks and bikes. The rule is if its special to you its welcome to be displayed. The show is put on by the Torquay Rotary Club and and around 6,000 people flock to the event to see around 350 vehicles. The event runs from 8:30 AM until mid afternoon. See our Gallery
Geelong Queer Film Festival
Saturday 10th February 2018
The Pivotonian Cinema in Verner Street, near Kardinia Park is showing two Tangerine on Saturday the 10th of February. This film features Mya Taylor’s award winning performance becoming the first transgender actress to win a major film award. Geelong Queer Film Festival (GQFF) presents a special screening as part of the Geelong Rainbow Festival. The MA15+ film is set in Los Angeles featuring some of the city’s many subcultures. Creative Creatures
Saturday 11th February 2018
Between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM on Sunday February the 11th Little Creatures Brewery in South Geelong will be hosting Creative Creatures a what will be Geelong’s biggest art fair. The day should be full of fun with DJs, roaming entertainment an art battle and arts from all mediums on display. There will even be a huge marketplace where you can purchase some unique local art.
