After the huge success of White Night, Geelong’s original night time arts event Geelong After Dark returns to the streets and lanes of Geelong on Friday the 3rd of May.
The event transforms the city into interactive art spaces with projections, performances, installations, music and plenty of surprises . The event features engaging and immersive experiences for the whole family with dozens of different displays and interactive things to enjoy and sometimes stretch the imagination.
The 2019 event will mark the 6th year of this popular event that sees tens of thousands of people flock to our lanes and public spaces for a truly unique experience. The city is transformed into a scape of colour with huge projections, special lighting and cutting edge performances.
The 2019 theme will be ‘Heighten your Senses” so expect the unexpected with three zones being set up around the city, the Arts precinct taking in Johnstone Park, Moorabool Street and lanes below Malop Street and the Little Malop Street precinct between Yarra and the Geelong City Hall.
