Car lovers and collectable hunters will be up early to try and snag a bargain on Saturday the 9th of May when the Western District Historic Vehicle Club hosts the Geelong Bay City Swap Meet at the Geelong Showgrounds. The swap meet is the clubs biggest event of the year and has grown over the years to include everything from car parts to household items, collectables, antiques and brick a brac. If you are after a bargain or are looking for that hard to find car part make sure you get you check the day out, it’s a fascinating day full of historic items that you never see in an antique shop. The bay city swap meet starts at 7am so be sure to get in early, and you will never know what bargain you may snap up.
