The rural village of Shelford is holding their annual Duck Race on Sunday the 23rd of February between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM on the township’s recreation reserve and river.
The day will see a fantastic family day enjoying country hospitality and fun with so much to do and see for the whole family. There will be market stalls, gourmet food, local wines and craft beers and entertainment all afternoon with the highlight being the Shelford Duck Race.
The 2020 event marks the 10th anniversary of this fun event and is expected to attract around 2-3000 people.
The Duck Race which is expected to start around 2:30 PM will see hundreds of rubber duckies let loose in the Leigh River, here hundred’s of spectators will cheer on their ducks to the finish line and hopefully take home a prize. The duck race is so much fun for people of all ages, especially the young.
