2013 Bellarine Agricultural Show

The tranquil seaside village of Portarlington will once again host the Bellarine Agricultural Show on the 10th of March 2013 at the Portarlington Reserve.

The show has become one of the favourite events of the Bellarine and a great opportunity to enjoy some of the best the peninsula has to offer.

The show not only features some of the finest animals and produce the Bellarine has to offer it also features art, handcraft, farm equipment and a whole array of family fun including plenty of fun for the kids.

The 2013 event will mark the show’s 23rd year and this year promises to be bigger than ever with so much to see and do. The animals promise to be one of the many highlights of the show with horses, cattle, poultry, sheep and even llamas featuring. The dog jumping is also a must for animal lovers and always attracts a large audience.

A unique highlight of the show promises to be the Gumboot Toss, this will take place at 11:00AM and will also include a competition for the best decorated gumboot.

The Bellarine Agricultural Show will also feature a wonderful vintage display of classic cars, trucks, motorbikes and farm machinery including tractors and other instruments that have worked the land. Many of these exhibits are beautifully restored and the display gives the public a rare opportunity to see some of these historic items in operation.
