The Geelong community showed their respect to the men and women who have served our country and our partners in New Zealand at the annual ANZAC Day Parade through Malop Street and a moving service in Johnstone Park. The solemn service in the shadow’s of the Geelong Peace Memorial remembered not only the horrific events that took place on the battlefields but the physical and mental scars that have left their mark in many of the survivors and families decades after some of our world’s darkest times.
