It might have not have had the fire power of Sydney or Melbourne’s New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganzas but Geelong sure did put on a great show over Corio Bay. Thousands of families enjoyed the twilight spectacle lining the entire foreshore as far as the eye could see. A large crowd came out to welcome 2019 at the midnight show with many families finding a relaxing place for a picnic and took in both shows.
With our beautiful floating Christmas tree in the background and the fireworks reflecting off the calm bay the show looked amazing, a great start to the new year.
