The Torquay NightJar Festival takes place on five Thursday evenings during January on the Spring Creek Reserve on the Great Ocean Road.
Attracting thousands of visitors the market has a vibrant atmosphere with a variety of great artists performing both on stage and roaming the market grounds.
Dozens of food vendors are dotted throughout the site offering a large selection of international cuisines and plenty of old favourites. There are bar areas selling some of our region’s best beer and wine and the market grounds have lots of lush lawns and shady trees to kick back and relax.
The market is a wonderful place to pick up some unique art, there are dozens of unique craft stalls, with many offering works by some of our talented local artists. There are also stalls selling fair trade items and lots of unique goods that you will rarely see anywhere else.
Entry to the festival is $5 and the fun starts at 4:00 PM every Thursday throughout January.
UPDATE- Great News!! Night Jar is coming to Geelong’s Johnstone Park in February. The fun starts at 4:00 PM every Friday night in February.
