Hot on the heels of superstar Elton John’s second visit to Geelong later this year two of our countries most loved and legendary acts will perform at Mt Duneed Estate’s Day on the Green in January. Returning to perform in Geelong for the first time since they shook the Palais in Moorabool Street to its foundations some 37 years ago back in 1983 Cold Chisel will be headlining the huge day. To ensure this ticket the hottest ticket ever, Paul Kelly is also on the bill. The incredible line up does not stop there Birds of Tokyo and Geelong’s own Magic Dirt will also be belting out a string of hits.
The first 2020 Day on the Green instalment takes place on Saturday the 11th of January at the beautiful Mt Duneed Estate. This is one of only three planned performances for Cold Chisel’s Blood Moon tour in Victoria, with us being the only one lucky enough to have Paul Kelly also on the bill.
Cold Chisel will hit the stage not only with their incredible bag of Australian classics, like Cheap Wine, Flame Trees, Khe Sahn, to name a few they will also have a brand new album ready for the tour, while Paul will be touring on the back of Songs of the South Greatest Hits album that spans his some of his amazing tracks released between 1985 and the present.
Tickets and pre-sale tickets go on sale during the third week of October, and are sure to be available only for minutes, Visit a Day on the Green’s official site or the artists websites sites for more information and proper links to the approved ticket agent Ticketmaster. We can not stress enough… Please be careful buying your tickets they are only on sale from Ticketmaster, Do not under any circumstances use the unofficial reseller sites like Viagogo as they are usually filled huge fees and markups and many people have been sold dud or duplicate tickets which will not get you into the show – it just isn’t worth the risk.
