One of the biggest names in the entertainment industry Sir Elton John is returning to Geelong on his huge “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” final tour of Australia on the back of his huge bio film Rocket Man. Elton will return to the Mt Dunned Estate as part of the Day on the Green series of concerts, the same venue as he played back in December of 2015 to around 15,000 fans.
Elton and his huge production is about half way through what will be a three year world tour and the Geelong date will be Saturday the 7th of December. The show has so far toured parts of the USA and Europe to sell out crowds with a set list that is jam packed with the biggest hits from five decades of music including Benny and the Jets, Rocket Man, Don Let The Sun Go Down on Me and Sad Songs just to name a few.
Tickets will sell fast when they go on sale on the 21st of June, keep an eye out for Pre-Sale deals but remember to only purchase your tickets through the official seller Ticketmaster. Keep away from re-sellers like Viago, auction and re seller sites , There are many stories of tickets have been sold at crazy over inflated prices and fake or invalid tickets offered.
A Day on the Green has seen some of the world’s biggest names tour Geelong in recent times including Red Hot Chili Peters last summer, Bryan Adams, Fleetwood Mac, Robbie Williams, and of course Elton now for the second time.
