The beautiful coastal township of Aireys Inlet hosts a community market on the second Sunday of the month, with a few extra dates over the summer period at the Aireys Inlet Community Hall which is located along the Great Ocean Road.
The market takes place in the hall and around its grounds and hosts a good selection of stalls. There is always a great selection of fresh fruit, vegetables and other produce available and some very tasty home cooking including cakes, slices, jams and cookies. Although not a huge market it really prides itself on artisan produce and quality items. The market is the perfect place to pick up some beautiful hand crafts and art, there are usually photography, paintings and even sculptures and other clever items on sale, many which have been made in the local Great Ocean Road area.
The Aireys Inlet market was originally established as the Aireys Inlet Farmers Market but has recently re-branded to become the Aireys Inlet “Community Market”, this helps acknowledge the fine handcrafts and artwork on sale alongside some of the regions best produce.
The Aireys Inlet Community Hall is located on the left of the Great Ocean Road when travelling from Anglesea or Torquay, it is one of the first building you will see coming into the town and is located next to the tennis courts.
