The Barwon Heads market is held in and around the grounds of the Barwon Heads Community Hall on the corner of Hitchcock Avenue and Ozone Street in Barwon Heads.
The market runs from all year round, being held every Saturday during December and January and on the last Saturday of the month from February to November, with a few date changes to fit in with the Christmas and New Year holidays. The market starts about 9AM and runs until 1PM.
The market has around 30 to 40 stalls which feature some very creative items including artwork, jewellery, homemade soaps, oils and plenty of craft items along with some great clothing. There are always a great selection of plants both indoor plants and plants for the garden. If you are hungry you are sure to find a tasty sausage or burger and don’t forget to take some of the freshest produce or some home cooking home.
The Barwon Heads Community Hall in located on the corner of Hitchcock Avenue and Ozone Street. While in Barwon Heads be sure to checkout the main shopping strip, a short walk up Hitchcock Ave. Barwon Heads has developed a vibrant culture in recent years, and what was once a small strip of vacent shops amongst a few houses, has developed into an interesting range of trendy cafes, restaurants and fashion boutiques that are well worth checking out.
