Airey’s Inlet is located on the magnificent Great Ocean Road and is about 46 kilometres from central Geelong and positioned about half way between Anglesea, which is 9 kilometres to the north east and Lorne which is about 19 kilometres south westerly. The famous Split Point Lighthouse can be found off Federal Street, but a visitor will have no problem navigating as it is the town’s most dominant feature and can be seen for kilometres either side of Airey’s Inlet. Fairhaven the sister township is south west of Airey’s being just across the river.
