Apollo Bay is around 118 kilometres from Geelong south west along the Great Ocean Road and around 70 kilometres south east from the western district farming town of Colac, through the Great Otway National Park. Both roads are very scenic and visitors from the Geelong region often take the coastal road one way and the Otway’s drive through Colac on return. Only a short drive to the south east from Apollo Bay is the spectacular Cape Otway coastline, with beautiful lightstation and incredible views, many people drive a little further down the coast to visit the world famous 12 Apostles near Point Campbell which are one of Australia’s most recognised natural treasures.
