The easiest way for visitors from Geelong is taking the Portarlington Road which is an extension of Ryrie Street in the City Centre. The 15 minute drive takes you through East Geelong passing Eastern Park, past Newcomb, Moolap, Leopold and Curlewis.
For cyclists the old Geelong to Drysdale railway line is now a very popular ride linking East Geelong near the Geelong Showgrounds with Drysdale.
Drysdale is on the Geelong to Portarlington highway and also links St Leonards and Indented Head from Murradoc Road, which starts at the roundabout near the Drysdale Pub. Ocean Grove, Queenscliff and Wallington are easily reached heading south out of the town via Grubb Road.
There is a bus service linking Geelong with Drysdale.
