St Leonards and Indented Head are accessible from Portarlington around the beautiful Esplanade and from Queenscliff via the Queenscliff to Portarlington Road, turning into Murradoc Road. The easiest way for visitors from Geelong is taking the Portarlington Road which is an extension of Ryrie Street in the City Centre. The 25 minute drive takes you through East Geelong passing Eastern Park, past Newcomb, Moolap, Leopold and Curlewis to Drysdale. At the Drysdale Pub in the centre of town turn right down Murradoc Road. St Leonards is about another 12 minutes and Indented Head another few minutes to the left along the esplanade.
St Leonards has a small shopping village with Pub, small supermarket, a few food outlets and stores, they can be found at the end of Murradoc Road.
A bus service links Indented Heads and St Leonards with Geelong and takes in some of the other towns on the Bellarine Peninsula
