Tens of thousands flocked to the Geelong Waterfront for one of the region’s premier events, the Festival of Sails over the Australia Day Weekend. The whole precinct from Cunningham Pier to Eastern Beach was full of food, music and activities. While out on Corio Bay some of Australia’s best sailing crews battled it out in what is recognised as one of the world’s oldest running sailing competitions.
