Thousands of people lined Pakington Street to celebrate a fun and vibrant day of multiculturalism at the 38th annual Pako Festa. The day saw a spectacular parade full which featured hundreds of performers in traditional dress representing the far reaches of the earth.

Thousands lined Pakington Street in West Geelong to witness an incredible parade full of colour, music and vitality at the 33rd Pako Festa.

The 31st Pako Festa brought Geelong’s biggest multicultural celebration to West Geelong. Tens of thousands flocked to witness the colour and spectacle of the amazing street parade, that was full of a dazzling display of exotic costumes, dance, rhythm, music and fun.

The 30th Anniversary Pako Festa was held on the 25th of February 2012 in very hot conditions, but it didn’t stop a huge crowd enjoying the colour, music, food and fun of what is one of Australia’s biggest multicultural celebrations.

The 2011 Pako Festa once again attracted tens of thousands to a wonderful day of multiculturalism. The morning started with the traditional parade full of colour and music and then Pakington Street was transformed into a huge street festival.

Once again the annual Pako Festa was a huge event attracting tens of thousands for a day of multicultural fun. This event has become one of Geelong biggest and most loved events with huge crowds lining Pakington Street early to enjoy the colourful parade.

Set amongst a beautiful February day, the 2007 Pako Festa parade was a kaleidoscope of colour with beautiful costumes, fantastic dancing and some very decorative floats. Tens of thousands flocked to Geelong’s biggest multicultural celebration.

The 2006 Pako Festa was held on the 25th of February and once again was a dazzling day of colour, music, food and multicultural fun. Tens of thousands flocked to West Geelong to see the morning parade and stay for the afternoon street party.

The annual Pako Festa is Geelong’s biggest multicultural celebration and this year once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors for a day of great food, dance, music and plenty of fun in a vibrant display of sound and colour.

Celebrated on the last Saturday of February, the 2004 Pako Festa saw an amazing day of multicultural fun along Pakington Street in West Geelong. This year saw a huge array of community groups spanning the four corners of the earth join the colourful parade.

The 2002 Pako Festa attracted thousands to a wonderful day of multiculturalism on Pakington Street West Geelong. This event is going from strength to strength each year and has cemented itself as one of Australia’s premier multicultural events.
