Once again the annual Pako Festa was a huge event attracting tens of thousands for a day of multicultural fun. This event has become one of Geelong biggest and most loved events with huge crowds lining Pakington Street early to enjoy the colourful parade. The afternoon saw the streets lined with a multitude of food vendors offering cuisine from the four corners of the globe. The flavours and aromas were just delicious. Several stages were set up along the stretch and in the adjoining parkland and played host to some wonderful dance, music and performance making the 2008 Pako Festa another great day.
