The threat of bad weather didn’t deter thousands flocking to central Geelong to enjoy the colour and excitement of the annual Gala Day parade. There were plenty of popular characters including The Lorax, the Madagascar lion, Half Cat and the crowd favourite Doctor Bear who was out helping raise much needed money for the kids ward at the Geelong Hospital.
