When Cold Chisel last played Geelong they filled the Palais in Moorabool Street with around 1000 people back in July of 1983. 37 years later they returned to a monstrous sell out crowd of well over 20,000 at A Day on the Green at Mt Duneed Estate. They put on a blistering performance filled with their greatest hits and a few new ones. They hit the stage after a fantastic performance by Paul Kelly, who was joined by Vika and Linda in what was an amazing set. BIrds of Tokyo and Geelong’s Magic Dirt opened the show making for an amazing day of Australian music.
