Hundreds lined Malop Street and even more came to Johnstone Park in wintery conditions to mark their respect at the 2012 ANZAC Day Parade and Service. A flypast followed by a colourful and proud parade featuring many veterans and family members received cheers from the large crowd before remembering the fallen with dignitaries and special guests around the historic bandstand. The moving ceromony concluded with the New Zealand and Australian National Anthems before people visited the Peace Memorial and caught up with old friends.
