Perfect weather saw in the 2011 Lara Food and Wine Festival at historic Pirra Homestead on the edge of Serendip sanctuary. There were plenty of local producers on hand sell everything from fine wine to goat sausages. Celebrity chef Gabriel Gaté was also on hand to show the crowd how to cook up some tasty dishes.
