Thousands visited the seaside resort township of Portarlington for the 2015 Portarlington Mussel Festival on the 10th of January. The threat of poor weather didn’t eventuate and the day was held in fine conditions. Many took advantage of great prices and took home the freshest of mussels by the kilos straight from the fishing boats. The day saw market stalls, a huge range of international food, some of the regions best beer and wine and a full day of entertainment.
