Geelong’s Gala Day celebrated 100 years in a blaze of colour down Malop Street on Saturday the 12th of November. For the first time the parade was held in a twilight setting with thousands of families lining the streets to enjoy the spectacular display. Highlights included the TV hosts Peter Hitchener and Rebecca Maddern who where crowned king and queen of the parade and a wide range of mascots and characters including the monstrous Doctor Bear inflatable.
