On January 18th, 2025, Johnstone Park once again became the ultimate destination for beer lovers as the Geelong Beer Festival returned in full force. With perfect summer weather setting the scene, festivalgoers enjoyed an impressive lineup of craft beers and ciders from breweries across Australia. The air buzzed with excitement as visitors sampled unique brews, discovered new favourites, and soaked in the lively festival atmosphere.
Beyond the drinks, the festival delivered a packed schedule of entertainment and activities. Beer enthusiasts sharpened their knowledge with masterclasses, featuring expert-led forums, beer and food pairings, and interactive tastings. Live music filled the park, with British India rocking the Main Stage, alongside standout performances from Felipe Baldomir and Jordy Maxwell. Over at the Sound Lounge, the festival energy kept flowing with DJ and saxophone sets, dance-offs, and a show-stopping finale by the Piano Bar’s Andy Pobjoy and the Ale Capones.
