Drysdale auto show 2026
Bathed in warm summer sunshine, the Drysdale Classic Car & Bike Show returned to the Drysdale Recreation Reserve on Sunday 4th January 2026, once again kicking off the region’s motoring calendar in style. With clear skies overhead and a light coastal breeze rolling across the oval, it was the perfect setting for a relaxed community day surrounded by chrome, colour and plenty of horsepower.

Hosted by the Drysdale Cricket Club, the annual event drew a strong crowd of enthusiasts, families and curious visitors eager to see what had rolled through the gates this year. From beautifully preserved vintage machines to modern performance cars, the display covered decades of automotive history.

Whether lovingly maintained in original condition or fully restored to showroom glory, each vehicle had a story, and proud owners were only too happy to share the details.

Motorbikes were equally well represented, adding variety and drawing plenty of attention with their intricate detailing and unique character. The mix of two and four wheels ensured there was something to capture the interest of every visitor.

Beyond the impressive display of machinery, the day had a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The club provided a range of food and refreshments throughout the afternoon, keeping everyone fuelled while they wandered the grounds.

Live music on the oval stage created a lively backdrop to the event, while entertainment for the kids ensured it was a true community day out rather than just a motoring meet. Groups gathered under shady trees, deck chairs unfolded, and conversations flowed easily between long-time enthusiasts and first-time attendees alike.

With a fine day, a broad range of vehicles spanning multiple eras, and a relaxed summer vibe, the 2026 show once again proved why it remains a highlight on the local events calendar.
