The coastal township of Queenscliff roared to life once again as the 2026 Queenscliff Rod Run rolled into town for its much-anticipated weekend celebration of classic motoring. Hosted by the Geelong Street Rodders, the annual event brought together an incredible collection of hot rods, custom builds and chrome-laden cruisers from across Victoria and beyond.
Held on the first weekend of February, the Rod Run has become a fixture on the regional events calendar, blending horsepower with holiday atmosphere. Throughout the weekend, visitors enjoyed cruising sessions, trade stands, live bands and plenty of opportunities to get up close to some truly remarkable machines.
The highlight for many was Sunday’s Show & Shine at Princess Park, where rows of polished steel and vivid paintwork lined the lawns against a relaxed seaside backdrop. The setting couldn’t have been better, warm summer conditions, ocean air drifting in from the bay, and the steady rumble of V8s echoing through town.
Every vehicle represented countless hours of dedication, and owners were more than happy to share the stories behind their pride and joy. From subtle engineering details to bold custom paintwork, there was something to admire from every angle.
While the vehicles are the stars of the show, the Queenscliff Rod Run is equally about community. Friends catch up year after year, families wander the displays together, and live music keeps the atmosphere lively throughout the afternoon. Trade stands added extra interest for enthusiasts chasing parts, memorabilia or inspiration for their next project.
The combination of classic cars, coastal charm and a welcoming crowd once again made the 2026 event a standout weekend. Whether you’re a lifelong rodder or simply enjoy a great community festival with a motoring twist, the Queenscliff Rod Run continues to deliver.
