The Australian International Airshow returned to Geelong’s Avalon Airport in early March 2023, after a few delays from COVID. Pleasant weather and the highly anticipated return of the airshow saw record crowds at the event.
For many, the highlight of the Australian International Airshow was the flying displays. Breathtaking aerobatic manoeuvres performed by skilled pilots in a variety of aircraft, including fast jets, warbirds, and aerobatic teams fascinated the crowd. This year the Australian Air Force brought their amazing F-35 Lightning II, F/A 18 F Super Hornets and massive Globemaster C-17a to the show much to the delight of aircraft enthusiasts.
