The 31st Pako Festa brought Geelong’s biggest multicultural celebration to West Geelong. Tens of thousands flocked to witness the colour and spectacle of the amazing street parade, that was full of a dazzling display of exotic costumes, dance, rhythm, music and fun.
The 30th Anniversary Pako Festa was held on the 25th of February 2012 in very hot conditions, but it didn’t stop a huge crowd enjoying the colour, music, food and fun of what is one of Australia’s biggest multicultural celebrations.
The 2011 Pako Festa once again attracted tens of thousands to a wonderful day of multiculturalism. The morning started with the traditional parade full of colour and music and then Pakington Street was transformed into a huge street festival.
